Occupation: Writer.
Describe a day in Asha’s life. After dropping my kids at school, I run to the gym (CrossFit 305), which is basically my version of CHEERS. Then it's all about squeezing in whatever combination of writing, working, and cooking I can manage. If I’m lucky, I’ll squeeze in a coffee or lunch with friends and, by the end of the day, I’m tucking in children and reading before bed.
Favorite coffee shop in Miami. I make iced coffee/protein shakes at home. If you see during daylight hours, it’s basically an appendage. Plenty of people make fun of me about it, and rightfully so.
Last thing you cooked. My daughter’s favorite chicken and rice dish (I love it, too).
On your reading list. All the books.
Favorite season. Fall (insert pumpkin spice latté meme).
Can’t leave the house without. My mason jar of iced coffee .
Your “can’t live without” product. Dior glow lip balm
Go-to beauty brand. GEE beauty
Must-have face treatment. Facial with Lauren at Petite Skin Retreat.
What is your approach to nutrition? Mostly local and mostly organic. I love carbs and meat, but I try to keep everything in balance.
What’s the cheat treat you can’t resist? Birthday cake at kids' parties and Krispy Kreme donuts.
Favorite tech app. Does Instacart count?
Last person you texted. Kirsten Vogel, we have so much to discuss: kids, meals, weekend plans, meals.
Person you text the most. Kirsten Vogel, for all the above reason.
Place you want to travel next. India ... when my kids are a little older.
What career would you choose for your next life. Social worker.
