Summer is around the corner and with it comes mango season! My mango tree is literally the tree that keeps on giving—pushing me to get creative in the kitchen with all type of mango-based dishes. I have always been a huge fan of mangos as they are a high source of vitamin A and C, as well as potassium, fiber, and folate. Probably why Shiva loves them too! My current go-to breakfast is a smoothie, and no better recipe than a mango smoothie. This one takes just five minutes to make, it’s fresh and just sweet enough, making it the perfect breaky for the whole family!
INGREDIENTS Serves 16 oz (2 people)2 Pitted Dates
2 Medium Size Ripe Mangos
1 Cup Coconut Water
1 Cup Coconut Meat
1/2 Teaspoon Spirulina
3 Ice Cubes
Coconut Flakes to Garnish
DIRECTIONS
Add all your ingredients into a Vitamix-like blender. Blend until smooth. Top with coconut flakes, Enjoy!
